Information stored on your device
HabitLock stores habit names, colors, weekdays, reminder times, notification settings, active status, display order, daily scheduled habits, and completion history in files on your device. The app, Home Screen widgets, and notification actions use a shared area on the same device called an App Group. There is no account registration or app-operated cloud sync.
Past completion history for deleted habits is retained so you can review it. Files used for migration and files saved before restoring data may also remain on your device for safety. The operating system controls shared storage and OS backups after the app is deleted, so we cannot guarantee that every copy is immediately removed.
Transmission to the operator and tracking
HabitLock is free to download and offers HabitLock Pro as a one-time in-app purchase to remove the habit count limit. There are no ads or subscriptions. The app does not send habits or history to an operator server and does not include advertising SDKs, behavior analytics SDKs, or its own crash-reporting service. It does not track you for advertising.
For troubleshooting, the app may write internal identifiers, notification action types, delivery times, target dates, and processing results to device system logs. Habit names are not written to diagnostic logs. HabitLock does not automatically send these logs to the operator. The operating system handles diagnostic information according to device settings and Apple's policies.
In-app purchases and purchase restoration
HabitLock uses Apple's StoreKit to load HabitLock Pro product information, make purchases, check purchase status, and restore purchases. These operations communicate with Apple's services. Apple handles payment and Apple Account information; HabitLock運営 does not receive payment details such as credit card numbers. The app does not use its own payment server or an external payment SDK.
The app uses purchase information verified by Apple to determine Pro access. It processes information such as the product identifier, purchased status, and revocation or refund status on your device to check access, without automatically sending it to an operator server. Restoring habit data and restoring Pro purchases are separate features. A backup file alone cannot enable Pro.
Notifications
If you allow notifications and turn on reminders for a habit, the app schedules local notifications on your device. Notifications display the habit name. You can control previews while your device is locked through device settings. You can create habits and record completions even if you decline notification permission.
Manual backup and data restoration
You can export your habits and full history as a JSON file. The app does not add its own encryption or password protection to this file. You choose where to save it. If you choose iCloud Drive or a third-party file service, that service may store or share the file outside your device. HabitLock does not automatically send the file to the operator.
When restoring data, the app validates the selected file and lets you review its contents before replacing the current data. It saves the previous data on your device so you can export it again. Manage and delete backups you have exported elsewhere at those locations.
Operating system backups
Depending on your settings, app data on your device may be included in operating system backups to iCloud or a computer. This is not HabitLock's own sync or automatic backup service. HabitLock does not guarantee recovery from OS backups or preservation of every saved backup file.
Information received through support requests
If you send a support email from your email app, we use the email address, message, and any files you choose to attach to respond to and handle your request. We keep support emails only as long as needed to handle the request and delete them when no longer needed. HabitLock does not automatically send habit data, backups, or diagnostic logs. Please do not include habit names or backup files you do not want to share.
Policy changes
If future features or data handling change, we will update this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure.
